Mission Street Parks Conservancy works with the City of Salem preserve, maintain, and improve Bush’s Pasture Park and other historic landscapes on or near Mission Street.

If you are already a member of Mission Street Parks Conservancy, please consider making an additional gift. You may also may a gift in honor or memory of someone. Your contribution is used for a variety of purposes, including:

  • Advocating for preserving the park’s historical integrity
  • Protecting and restoring the park’s native plant communities
  • Purchasing new trees, shrubs, and other plants
  • Contracting with professional experts, such as arborists who help maintain the parks’ collection of Oregon White Oaks and flowering trees
  • Special projects, such as the development of an outdoor classroom, installation of interpretive kiosks, and rehabilitation of the rose garden
